Why software feels harder than it should

Most software requires you to learn the product before you can get value from it. You have to understand how the interface is organized, where information lives, what each control does, and which sequence of clicks will accomplish your goal.

But most of the time, you only care about two things:

Getting information and seeing it presented clearly.
Accomplishing a concrete goal in the product.

For example, a product manager may want to know why trial-to-paid conversion dropped last week and see the breakdown by signup step and customer segment. They do not necessarily want to learn an analytics dashboard first.

A developer debugging a checkout issue may want the errors after a deployment grouped by likely root cause, with the relevant logs and requests presented together. They do not want to learn every screen in an observability product.

A designer may want to turn a rough brief into a moodboard with references, color palettes, and layout directions. They should not have to learn their way around a design tool first.

The goal matters more than the interface. Agents are good at turning that goal into a sequence of steps, finding the right information, and carrying out the work.

What Dexto Apps enable

How do Apps work?

All Dexto Apps work like normal apps, with one key difference: they expose a set of actions an agent can use. This means that when you ask an agent to work in an app, it can see the app, choose an action, and update the app while you watch.

You can open the app yourself, review what changed, edit it, or take over at any time.
