What is Dexto?

Dexto helps you create AI teammates that can answer questions, use tools, and complete tasks for you.

Dexto is a place to create and work with AI agents. Think of an agent as an AI teammate: you give it a job, tell it how you want that job done, and choose what it is allowed to use.

Unlike a basic chatbot, a Dexto agent can do more than write a reply. It can work with files, search for information, use connected services, and help carry a task from start to finish.

How Dexto is organized

Dexto uses a few simple building blocks:

Agents are AI teammates set up for a particular kind of work.
Sessions are conversations you can leave and return to later.
Runs are the individual tasks an agent performs inside a conversation.
Tools and integrations let an agent work with files, websites, and other services.

You do not need to understand all of these before you begin. Start with an agent and give it one clear task.

What can I use it for?

For example, you can ask an agent to:

research a topic and summarize what it finds;
read a group of files and explain them;
draft content using your preferred style;
update information in a connected service; or
repeat the same task whenever you need it.
