Memory

Memory helps Dexto learn the context that matters to you. As you use Dexto, it can become more useful by carrying stable information from one conversation into future tasks.

Useful memories include your preferences, project decisions, reusable instructions, important facts, and open follow-ups. Your conversation history can still contain every message, but not every message needs to become a separate Brain memory.

For example, you could ask an agent to remember that weekly updates should be short and use bullet points. The next time you ask for an update, it can follow that preference.

You stay in control of what is remembered and can review or remove it.

The Brain app

The Brain app is where you can see Dexto’s memories. You can search them, inspect where they came from, correct details that changed, and delete anything you no longer want Dexto to use.

Brain makes memory visible instead of hiding it inside a conversation. It can include context about you, an agent, or a particular piece of work.

Over time, this helps an agent give you more relevant and consistent results without asking you to repeat the same background in every task.
